Summit Treestands has received a small number of reports from the field of accidental disengagements of the treestand from the treestand bracket/strap. While there have been few reports of personal injury to date, any accidental disengagement has the potential to result in serious injury or death. Consequently, Summit Treestands is voluntarily recalling all Summit Treestands Talon Hanging Bracket/Straps 85136 and 85137 packaged separately and with treestands: rsEagle 82044, rsOsprey 82041, rsFalcon 82042, rsHawk 82043 and Cabelas Realtree Outfitters Series Hawk Deluxe 81509 to replace the bracket/strap assembly. If you own a Talon Bracket/Strap you should immediately stop using your bracket/strap(s) and affected treestand and discontinue any further use until you have completed this recall form and received your new bracket/strap from Summit Treestands. This recall ONLY requires that your Talon Bracket/Strap be returned and replaced. Even if you have never had a problem with your Talon Bracket/Strap, you should not use your bracket/strap or affected treestand until you have received your replacement bracket/strap under this recall program.

If you own more than one Talon Bracket/Strap affected by this recall, click the "Add another strap" button and indicate the model number if known. The form below should be filled out completely. When completed the "submit" button will initiate a process whereby a new Talon Bracket/Strap assembly (complete with a prepaid UPS return label ) will be sent to your address. The new Bracket/Strap will be sent by UPS and should arrive 5 to 7 business days after the date when the return request was received. When this new bracket/strap assembly arrives please follow all of the included instructions for returning your affected Talon Bracket/Strap(s).
