Ruger Mini-14 Modular Ambidextrous Buttstock Magazine Pouches
Our Mini-14 Modular Buttstock Magazine Pouch (BMP) holds 1 spare 20 round magazine on the offside of the buttstock. Secure, but readily accessible, this gives the shooter a spare magazine that's always with the weapon.
A highly valuable feature of this BMP is that it is modular, completely ambidextrous and can be easily attached to the rear adapter of any of our fixed stock Mini-14 CQB, CST or SOP slings via this simple process:
This item is available for fixed stock Mini-14 carbines in Black, Olive Drab or Coyote Tan. The standard Mini-14 BMP package comes with a pouch & front strap assembly only for attachment to any of our fixed stock Mini-14 CQB, CST or SOP slings. We also offer a stand alone version that comes with a Mini-14 rear adapter. Please specify options when ordering.
Note: Removal of the rear sling swivel stud is required in order to use this pouch.
Additional Note: We will not be offering a 30 rd. buttstock magazine pouch for the Mini-14. We have determined that the pouch extends so far forward that it adversely and dangerously interferes with the average shooters ability to obtain a proper firing grip on the weapon.
Installation Directions. Step 1 Back side of the pouch & your sling rear adapter. Step 2 Open the cross strap retainer loop & insert your rear adapter cross strap. Step 3 Close the cross strap retainer by securing the velcro. Step 4 Bend the pouch back & secure your rear adapter as normal. Once secure bend the pouch back and open the front strap. Step 5 Wrap the front strap around the stock and secure the velcro.
